Hearing that, of course I couldn't miss it. I visited Houston for Independence Day weekend and I heard that Houston is known for it's Chinese and Vietnamese food. My one regret is that we didn’t order more dishes, but with only two people, it is easy to order too much. The egg custard had a wonderful homemade flavor. The chicken feet looked so plump and juicy, I even tried them (a first for me) and they were tasty. The beef tripe with ginger and onion was some of the best I have ever eaten, and very tender. The Gai Lon was cooked to perfection with the oyster sauce on the side. The stuffed eggplant was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. They use loose leaf tea which yields a better flavor in their hot tea. Each dish is prepared to order and served fresh and hot. First of all they don’t have Dim Sum carts, which I think is better. BBQ bun, we found the dishes were far superior to any other Dim Sum restaurant we have visited in Houston. Unlike other reviews, we found the service friendly and helpful. My wife, who is of Asian descent, and I have been looking for a good Dim Sum restaurant in Houston what we found was a Great Dim Sum restaurant.
